Introduction to Sexual HealthInfo Course Information![]() The aim this session is to develop knowledge and awareness of sexual health and HIV prevention, including the latest evidence-based strategies for reducing transmission, effective HIV testing, and the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). This course will equip participants to confidently advise, support, and signpost individuals on sexual health and HIV prevention, with a strong emphasis on current UK guidelines, person-centred care, and reducing stigma. This course is designed for all healthcare professionals working in primary care, community settings, or specialist sexual health services, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, health advisors, and allied health professionals. It is also suitable for students and trainees in healthcare programmes who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in sexual health and HIV prevention.
