Certificate in Dance Movement Psychotherapy Supervision: Embodied Relational ApproachDescriptionThis course is for experienced, qualified creative arts therapists, psychotherapists, and counsellors who want to deepen their understanding of supervision. It focuses on relational and embodied approaches, integrating somatic and intersubjective perspectives. You’ll learn to move from therapist to supervisor by developing presence, awareness of relational dynamics, and ethical responsiveness. Through experiential methods, including role work, live supervision labs, reflective practice, and mentoring, you’ll build a confident supervisory voice that supports both individual and group processes. The course emphasises embodied ways of knowing and knowledge creation, exploring the relational process of power, diversity and ethics. The course is accredited by the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy (ADMP UK) and graduates will be eligible to apply for recognition as supervisors under ADMP UK. ADMP UK is a member organisation of UKCP (HIPC). This training course is awaiting approval from HIPC as part of the UKCP registry of supervisors.
