The 2026 TaSC Conference invites participants to explore how we might cultivate more peaceful, cooperative, and understanding ways of relating—ways in which difference becomes a source of creativity and learning rather than conflict. We will draw together insights from in-depth therapeutic practice and social justice practices, bridging psychological and political perspectives to consider what solidarity across difference truly requires.

Throughout the day, we will engage in both whole-group and smaller-group experiential sessions, creating space to explore these issues at a personal and emotional level. Panel dialogues will offer further opportunities to reflect, question, and share ideas. Together, we will examine questions such as:

• What does respectful relating really mean, and how do we practise it? 
• Why is it so difficult to talk across differences—and what might it look like if we could? 
• How does power operate within TaSC itself? What can we learn from that? 
• What are our blind spots when it comes to solidarity across difference? 
• What must each of us be willing to examine or expose in ourselves to participate fully in this work?

The conference aims to strengthen and deepen relationships within TaSC, and to connect with others in the wider therapeutic field who are committed to social justice. We also warmly welcome those outside the therapy world who are interested in the intersection of therapeutic insight and progressive social change.
