Ruskin Poetry Prize 2017


Judges – Dr Alipio de Franca and Dr Patrick Davidson Roberts

Submissions Closing Date – 26th April 2017

The 3 winners will be published in POEM magazine.

The poems:

  • Must be an entrants own work;
  • Must be unpublished and not submitted elsewhere to another competition or for publication;
  • Can be up to 40 lines on any subject.

The University reserves the right to publish and seek publication for the winning poems in connection with the Ruskin Prize.

The competition is open to all and there are no restrictions on the number of entries per person, provided that each entry is paid for.

£5 per poem and £3 for subsequent entries.

200 pounds for the winner

100 pounds each for the two runners-up

You will be sent details on how to submit your poem once payment is complete.
